Arctic Tones Devlog #1 - Post-Jam Edition

Main character "Lumi" Concept Art, June 14.
By Edvintually
Late Additions:
- Level numbers and titles were added. Every level after the tutorial will now include a unique level title in the bottom left.
- Song added in-game. Previously planned dialouge BGM "mus_funk.ogg" added in level 19.
Improvements:
- Added downloadable executable.
- Tutorial levels now include a text box with game instructions and controls.
- Increased audio mix on all music and sound effects.
- Bonus Level 19 added. After beating level 18, instead of getting a grey screen you get "game over" level.
- Animation adjustments. Small change to Lumi's frames in skating, winning, and falling sprites to be as intended.
Note:
Just like many other great SSJ entries, Arctic Tones made it onto Itch's New & Popular page for Puzzle games!! (thanks Dylan Bennett for sharing this in the pigsquad discord server). We all had fun making this fun little game for the jam, but huge updates will likely not resume for this project.
Although I worked on this project as a musician and artist, for the post-game update I had to pick up Godot Engine for the first time just to smoothen out the game a little to my personal liking. I personally would love to keep making ambitious updates to this game, but I'm not too knowledgable about this kind of stuff!!
Perhaps you could come back once and a while to see if this game got an update, but the way things are seeming this could be the last one. Hope you all enjoyed this project that we all managed to pull off. It was a bunch of fun to make on my end! ^o^
